problem

The Bacons opened in 1991, and was in need of a brand re-fresh that would help them connect with a younger and newer demographic while remaining loyal to their long-term customers. 

solution

The final visual identity I created for The Bacons combines classic charm with a contemporary edge. I illustrated a set of custom mascots to pair with a minimal palette, familiar graphic shapes, and complimentary typefaces.

The Bacons is a beloved classic burger joint that is not only a neighborhood staple, but a neighborhood favorite. They have a classic approach to fast food, with a diner aesthetic and a minimal menu that has barely changed for 50 years.
